This Luxury Wilderness Resort is located on the placid
waters of Southeast Alaska’s Admiralty Island. We offer
incredible salt and fresh water fishing, kayaking,
rainforest hikes, whale watching and our popular
culinary classes.
Within minutes of the lodge you will find all 5 species
of wild Pacific salmon, halibut, rockfish, and a variety
of trophy sized trout – the fishing is world-class and
plentiful. Fly-fishing in the nearby lakes and streams
is like nowhere else.
Join our gourmet French chef, Pierre Coutou, in the
demonstration kitchen and learn how to prepare fresh
fish, create traditional French sauces, pastries and/or
help prepare the evening’s four-course gourmet dinner.
Return home with fantastic new recipes and the secrets
of their preparation.

resort offering gourmet Euro-Asian cuisine, 12
distinctly designed guest rooms with lodgepole
furnishings, native Tlingit artwork, plush bedding and
soaking tubs. Our expansive native cedar Great Room with

Activities
Guided Fishing Expeditions with Coast Guard certified guides
All equipment, bait & tackle, gourmet lunch, state-of-the-art fish packaging and processing (up to 50 lbs). Additional fish processing and freight add $1.75 per pound.
Kayaking
Take a full day guided trip into the most beautiful waterways in Southeast Alaska. Our guides are local artists, educators, and residents who love to explore and provide you with a cultural and historical experience along the way. Kayaks, raingear, boots, jackets, & lunch provided.
Hiking in the Tongass National Rainforest
Experience the earth as you never have before. Take a trip through one of the most unique forests in the World. Experience walking trough a forest that contains the largest concentration of brown bear and bald eagles on the planet, wild mushrooms, herbs, 6 different types of wild berries, and unique plant life.
Whale Watching and Island Passage Excursions
We are located in one of the only places in North America where you can view humpback whales “bubble net feed”, just minutes from the lodge. Killer whales and porpoise are also feeding in the area. Chatham Strait is one of the richest waterways containing plentiful herring, the preferred diet of the local whales. Both the Discovery Channel and National Geographic have filmed right in front of lodge documenting this incredible sight. Trip includes full day on the water with lunch.
