Located in the quaint fishing village of Elfin Cove at the northernmost entrance to Alaska’s Inside Passage, Tanaku Lodge puts anglers just minuets away from the migratory route of millions of pacific salmon. Having the choice of the open Pacific or sheltered inlets makes the island-studded waters prime habitat for not only five species of salmon but also trophy-sized halibut and a wide variety of bottom fish. For fly-fishing, there are a number of streams and rivers nearby where you can match your fly, bait or lure casting expertise against lively dolly-varden, trout, and pink and coho salmon. The water is so crystal clear you can see the fish strike your fly or lure!

Tanaku Lodge is family owned and operated, with four-star cuisine and down-home hospitality in a quiet, pristine wilderness. This cedar and pine lodge with wrap-around windows provides gorgeous views of Mt. Fairweather and the Brady Glacier. Elfin Cove, Alaska is a small fishing community located on Chichagof Island. There are approximately ten residents who live here during the winter months, but this sleepy hollow comes to life during spring and summer due to the tremendous runs of ocean-brite salmon.
